I had been using an expensive makeup primer then saw this one on another social media site and decided to give it a try. It feels like the silicone based product I'd been using but there's no mention of silicone on the bottle. I've been using it for a week and here's what I've discovered. Use it on a clean, moisturizer-free face. One pump is enough. Two was too much. When I tried two, my makeup looked like it was sliding off.Massage the one pump of product onto your face then be sure to wash your hands, they'll be slippery. I let the product sit on my face for about a minute, applying my mascara primer while waiting. Then I applied my base. The look was flawless, even around larger pores. Flawless. My makeup looked great all day. My face didn't feel like I had another layer of something on. The product feels lightweight and gives your skin a silky feel. I have mixed skin (oily, dry). The primer felt great all over. I highly recommend this primer. It's equal to, if not better than the more expensive primer I've been using.

This formula is so silky smooth it makes your foundation application go on effortlessly with a flawless silk non dry look I will never buy a high priced primer over this one this does exactly what a goodprimer is supposed to it's all you need for a flawless foundation finish I've triedmany others and always waste my money because I always come right back to this ... I've learned the hard way to stop looking for better when you have the very best right Infront of you I'm convinced this is the best primer on the market the others just does not do what elf does ... I l urchased this primer due to ELF having a great reputation as a drugstore brand. Late l y, my Bye Bye Redness neutralizing cream started looking heavy handed and sloppy, with area's of settling into fine lines. Upon trying this primer, I could visibly see that my foundation glided across my face with the help of a brush now but it isn't really meshing. I blame the foundation as it is 15 months old (use is 3x's per week) and feeling thicker than a fresh container. For comparison, I used my "oh no, I am out of foundation" back up. It's even older but thinner. Combined with the application of primer, I had a great result. I can definitely see a difference between my skin with and without primer.I am waiting for a new to me foundation. I will update my review soon with the results. I feel this product does exactly as promised, no gimmicks.
