It works fairly well and small enough for someone to breathe around. Also like that the mouthpiece has not made so large that it's a problemit's just about the perfect size as far as that goes . The only problem I've run into so far is that the Collar on it is too short. Even if you can get it latched on the personit digs into the sides of the mouthalmost cuts into themfortunately the material is soft enough not to actually cut .
