I am very happy with this purchase…I love my chairs but they are beat up and not worth the cost of reupholstering. These covers have made them feel new again.I tried 3 different brands/styles of slipcovers. This is the third and by far most economical. I got the 2-piece in oatmeal color…it seems a tad lighter than the product photos show but is still nice. Goes great in my living room. These covers were so easy to put on and fit beautifully with just a little tucking of excess fabric. The cushion piece fit my t-cushions just fine. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love this chair cover! This was originally a very dark gray dated overstuffed chair now it looks antique and the cover fits perfectly!
I bought this to protect our very nice couch from our very naughty kitten ("Sofa" size). The couch has 3 really thick cushions, 3 attached puffy pillow backs, overstuffed arms, short, stubby wooden legs and a wooden trim pc all along the front bottom.(The shape of my couch is very much like the one shown in the ad picture.)The big pcs of my living room furniture (including the couch) are different shades of bro,ns with smaller green pcs, accents and accessories.Because the brown slipcover was $3.00 more, I decided to save those dollars and ordered the grayish green color, thinking that would go blend well. Not so, Iam disappointed in color. It looks plain gray to me and hubby, I don't see any green tones. The gray kind of sticks out like a sore thumb, but, other than that, I like the cover. It fits so well on the couch that it's hard to tell it's a slip cover. The two pc set makes it even more tailored, and the cushions are big enough to fill up the pc that covers those, with no left-over fabric to try to snug-up or fold out of view. The cover comes all the way to the bottom of the sofa on all four sides...front, back and both sides, and the elastic band that goes all the way around the bottom of the slip cover, though not tight fitting, is snug enough to keep this mischievous kitten from crawling under the cover and scratching away on the couch, which he did with the plastic cover I bought first (from Amazon....a waste of money that I DO NOT recommend!).(If he ever figured out that it is possible, he WOULD be able to get under this cover, but it fits so well, it doesn't show any visible gaps that clues him into that fact. It's quite tailored-looking.)The fabric is very soft, and the paisleys are raised with a velvet-like look and feel. The fabric is also rather thin, not see-through thin, but it doesn't guard against cat scratching, and the pc underneath the cover WILL be damaged if the cat persists with using it as a scratching post.Still, it's better than nothing and better than theUGLY, illfitting plastic cover I got first. We also have a couch in the family room that I'll be getting a slip cover for.Right now, I have the double-sided tape on it, and that is working to keep the cat off and prevent him from scratching on it, but that's very annoying when anyone wants to sit.Perhaps I'll move this coverto that couch and buy a brown cover for this couch, maybe the same one, maybe something in a little heavier fabric, although how will I know that until I get it?I'll see what I see when I browse Amazon.BUT, if you want a cover that fits well and looks nice, with a tailored look provided by seams in the right places and elastic all the way around the bottom, that covers the entire couch on all 4 sides, all the way to the bottom, that, so far, stays in place when sat on (and even when I lay down for a nap), and will keep the couch clean, this is a very nice choice for the money ($41.69, free ship for the grayish green). If you're hoping for a cover that will protect your couch from cat-scratching or dog-digging damage, you should try to find a heavier fabric than this.'(Although I do NOT recommend those ugly plastic covers for anything other than dust protectors when you're gone or moving.) As for the color......grayish green is a nice gray color, but it isn't green...at least, not that we can discern.I am deducting one star for the thin fabric but mostly for the misleading color name.
