After the dial absorbs light, it will glow for a while, not overnight.Product difference: Manual Winding Movement:no rotor parts, must be fully wound manually every dayAutomatic Mechanical Movement :own rotor parts,When the person wearing the watch moves, the ROTOR pocket watch rotates to provide an automatic winding function. Mechanical watch refers to a watch that uses the mainspring to store power. A hand-wound watch must be wound by a man's hand rotating the crown and pushing the winding device to tighten the clockwork. The automatic watch drives the automatic plate to oscillate back and forth through the natural swing of the wrist to automatically tighten the clockwork. PS:Office workers and elderly people lack exercise and cannot provide enough power for pocket watches. It is recommended to manually wind the clockwork 10 times before going to bed every night to maintain time accuracy.I loved the watch the minute I unboxed it and put it to work.Looks great at day time as glows in the dark. The magnifying glass not only enhances the face but can be used as a magnifying glass and as a stand on night table.I liked it so much that I upgraded it with an pure silver vest chain. The winding is very smooth to the touch...and so far keeps excellent time. The big numbers on the face plus the half moon indicting day and night have effective visibility. This without a doubt is a good quality pocket watch.RECOMMENDED
Quite nice. Has some heft to it. I've not had it long but, it is keeping time and is very easy on the eyes.
Nice, easy to read numbers, magnifying glass is fine.I've only had this a few days.Has a "short" spring, meaning the self-winding feature is not enough to keep it running. Not a big deal, unless you forget to wind it before bed and when you get up.There is no "moon phase" --it just shows a sun in the day, and a moon at night. The small dial is just a 24 numbered dial to match the numbers on the face. A Tourbillon is meant to keep a watch functioning at the same speed regardless of the position of the watch (i.e., horizontal or vertical).I can't tell if this is a true functionhere or just a visual decoration.I would be satisfied if it would just run all the time with the self-winding mechanism.
